omg, i get so excited when i realize that characters from different shows are played by the same actor.
example: im sitting here watching Lost through again, and im at the end of the 2nd season and its desmond's flashback episode. he starts talking to charles widmore, and im straightening my hair watching the tv through my mirror, and i turn around fast when i see him and go "...BRADFORD MEADE?!?!?!"
how i did not notice that charles widmore is played by the same guy that plays bradford on ugly betty amazes me. although i did just rewatch ugly betty a week or two ago (i cant wait for thursday! season three eeeeeee) but i remember asking tyler if it was the guy who played mr. linerman on heroes, but they look nothing alike.
also this happened earlier this week when i watched the first episode of Fringe.. the main FBI boss dude was the dude who was following Hurley in the flashforwards of lost season 4 when he was in the mental house.
hahah i get so excited over this

is it when you are dreaming that you twitch?
chelsea's kitty is asleep on my bed with his eyes half open completely sprawled out and his ears and paws keep randomly twitching. i swear this cat.. one minute hes running around chasing your feet being a complete menice, the next he is totally passed out and wont wake up for anything. so silly :)
I was sick today (period blues, i guess?) along with a cold that i cant shake, and basically was in bed sleeping or laying down until around 6pm because of a horrible headache. of course, this makes me stay up until now (3:40) when i have to wake up at 7 to take a shower and get ready for school at 9. and since tomorrow is tuesday, i have a whole list of things i want to get done:
Customer service class
project management homework (1 quiz and 2 assignments)
DDB: halloween bows
clean room
make some more video tutorials (i like making 2 or 3 at a time and putting them up every other day, more views and stuff haha)
I definitely have to get DDB going because I need to get Project: Babyyak underway (Tyler can't really keep her in Chicago anymore, and kinda told me that the main reason we got her was because I wanted a kitten so bad, soo long story short, shes moving to AZ.) Unfortunetely, this is kinda a big deal. American Airlines is the only airline we can take that will allow animals, and theres all sorts of requirements, plus it costs $100 even tho it is counted as one of your carry on bags and she will just chill under the seat the whole time -_- of course then i have to buy a carrier that meets the airline requirements, and those tend to run around $60. I asked my family if they were willing to donate to Project: Babyyak, and everyone seemed willing to donate $25 or so. My brother was a shock, he doesn't give money to ANYBODY, but i think he just wants to see Babyyak and the monster (above) play.. he definitely needs a friend, thats for sure!
I hope shes okay on the plane too, she never ever cries and rarely meows, so im not too worried. i would just hate to be the lady with the "MOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW"-ing seat (anyone with cats knows the sound i mean im sure, when you take them in the car, when they are scared to death..

I was sad earlier and frustrated cause i dont like this long distance thing, and tyler said "you know you can come over any time you want" and i complained about it's expensive and costs a lot and blah blah blah, and he made the valid point of saying that if i actually started working more at the hospital and getting more than just a few hours every 2 weeks.. if i went in 3 or 4 days a week and worked on at home projects too, id be making okay money and since i have nothing else to spend it on, could afford to see him more often. i told him im going up in october so we can fly back together to bring babyyak to my house (shes moving in with us, wuahaha) but thats not until probably october 23rd.
i dunno, maybe i'll see if i can get a ticket to go see him sometime late this month or if all else sometime in november. hell be here for 5 weeks dec-jan, so thats a lot of time. i just miss him :(

okay, i have just accepted the inevitable. I have to check 2 bags, and right now i have my big pink suitcase filled and its super heavy, and then my backpack filled with hair products and stuff. im carrying on my purse which will have my laptop and stuff, and my betsey johnson suitcase that has all the makeup.
I'm thinking since I'm still a little afraid that my pink bag will be too heavy (and if it is I dont have any room in any other bag to stuff things in) so i think im just going to run over to nordstroms rack in the morning and look for a realitively cheap good sized duffle and then just stuff more crap in that. this way ill be able to use my backpack instead of my big purse (2 shoulders are better than one!) and it will be easier. im over the fact that im basically paying $50 already just to get everything home (pre duffle purchase) because its gotta get home and id rather be safe than sorry.
so tomorrows outline:
wake up 11:30ish
post office around 12:15 to mail home bow stuff and mailers (maybe not bow stuff if i get a duffle? that will save me 10 bucks.. ehh? ehh? haha this is why i like writing in here cause i think outloud.. kinda)
H&M to return blouse

omg, i haaaate packing!
the fact that there is no scale here is really messing me up. i cant tell if my bag weighs 50 pounds or not, and since im a weakling i am always overshooting it, thinking it weighs more. my big problem is that i bought a lot of hair stuff while i was here and its payback time. my bag is reaaally heavy, tyler is also thinking its over the limit. its already costing $15 to check one bag, and if its over 50 pounds it costs another $50. my other option is checking my backpack, and filling it up with all of my hair stuff and other crap. im already mailing a package home that probably weighs around 10 pounds, but its a flatrate box so it will cost $10.
i would just through a fit if i get to the checking spot and my first bag weighs 40 pounds or something. or id be one of those annoying people and shove everything into the big bag so i didnt have to pay lol
rawr this is getting spensive.. but is a good lesson in learning to pack light

I cant staaaaand when people use the word "like" every other fucking word. I know everyone says it and sometimes often, but this dumbass staying with us serioulsy says it EVERY OTHER WORD. its driving me out of my mindd

Lolla update:
not a fan of the dude that tyler let stay here. hes one of those people who cant do anything sober and drinks all day, sleeps, wakes up and first thing he does: goes to the fridge for a beer. reeeeeeally not a fan.
Radiohead was way too quiet and everyone around was talking, so it wasnt very fun.
Duffy: i was really excited to see her, but it was a letdown. i think its partially to blame that her voice is LOUD and so was her mic, and the fact that the only upbeat song she has is Beggin you for Mercy, which was conveniently played last. bummer :/
Raccountuers: REALLY good. tyler told me they would be amazing, and he wasnt kidding. i dont know a lot of their songs but i didnt get bored and had fun watching them.
Ting Tings were fun to watch :)
Brand New= Lame live
Jamie Lidell: FANTASTIC! I hadnt heard anything from him before i saw him, but man i was really impressed. for one song the saxaphone player was playing 2 saxes at once, and then jamie had the chromeo style mic that effed up his voice so it sounded electronic. he has a really good voice, and halfway through the set he started making his own mix style songs with his laptop and mic.. making the beat boxing and layering his vocals. it was really impressive!!
Uffie: probably the WORST band i have ever seen live. i was very excited to see her cause i like her songs, but ugh within 10 minutes i was ready to leave. it was embarassing :/
Rage against the machine: omg, the amount of people for rage was MADNESS. within two songs, you see all these tiny girls pushing their way to the stairs to get out, most with looks on thier faces like they just watched someone die. i saw quite a few people bleeding from various parts of their face, and had to try really hard to avoid being touched by the disgusting sweaty men. we were nowhere close to the stage, but there were soo many people. the singer had to ask the crowd to step back 5-10 steps at least 4 times, saying how they couldnt start playing until they moved back because people were getting hurt. when the screens showed the crowd, you could see the pain in the people in the front's faces. i felt bad.
We also stopped by Kidapalooza (the kids version with bands involving younger kids and face painting and stuff, really really cute) and watched a band called Homeade Jamz Band, which we mainly wanted to see cause of the name. OMG, the singer/guitarist was 16, bassist was 14 and the little girl drumming was NINE.. i didnt know this until after they played and HOLY SHIT, people. they played blues style songs, and the guitarist is totally a mini BB king! the little nine year old drummer girl was NUTS, she was really good and i couldnt believe shes so young. that was one of my favorite bands to see, because they are SO talented, and the dad plays harmonica and mom was there too. so cute, we couldnt get over how talented the family was.
TOMORROW: Weakerthans, John Buttler Trio, GNARLS BARKLEY, GIRL TALKKKK!!!!!!, Flogging Molly, mark ronson, and my beloved NIN. kanye i playing at the same time as NIN, and since hes from chicago im hoping a lot of people will stay on that side and watch him. i cant waiiiiit for NIN, ive heard nothing but amazing things about their live show and gahhhh.. trents voice.. oooh i cant get enough!! :)

and it was after office hours so she couldnt call the pro people and ask wtf was going on
im so pissed off.. i sent an email but ill have to call and yell on monday. i didnt do anything for them to deactivate my card. ugh

im old today!
my mom called tyler this morning to tell him she was going to the store to get cupcakes, and not to tell me.. but tylers phone is very loud so i heard everything, and we were kinda laughing and i had to signal to tyler not to let her know we heard, she likes the suprises almost more than me, lol.
we are going to the shedd aquarium today and then to grand luxe cafe for dinner :)
i got a package from lauren (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) rather_b_dancin) and gina (wellwithin yesterday for my birthday, and omg it totally made my day. it included play doh, my favorite type of candy (those sour belt things) and then she bought these cute ducks that light up when you touch the bottom of them, and to make them unique she actually made little bows that she glued on the side of their heads. its SO freaking the cutest idea ever, ill take pictures and upload them cause i cant even get over it. they also made adorable little handmade cards that are very sweet. thank you guys SOO much, you completely made my day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also got a package from javy, she sent me a shirt, little mermaid pen and keychain, and lucky charm lipbalm. :) thank youuu javy!!!!!
my mom has also been really cool.. she was all worried because she didnt buy much for my bday so she bought me a sephora haul and clothes.. mmm. i was excited :) shes actually taking about 75% of the makeup i have aquired here home for me becaues i dont want to have to check 2 bags.. that would cost $40 instead of one which would be $15. she is also taking a lot of bow stuff too.
